Little Bit wants to show you why it's important to floss...

I ventured off on my lunch break to Silver Spurs once again; the horse stable here on base and I found a familiar friend, Little Bit. I fell inlove with Little Bit a couple months ago on my first trip to Silver Spurs. Well today he gave me quite the surprise as I was talking to him (yes I'm weird I talk to animals) I must have said cheese. Well "cheese" is the magical word because he SMILED for me! It was the cutest gesture and made me love the guy that much more.

I also crossed paths with the friendly but shy farm cat. I could tell he wanted to play with me but just didn't get close enough for me to give him a pet. Oh well i still got a nice shot of those gorgeous eyes.

And of course I saw many of these out today... more butterflies :0)

Another afternoon out at Silver Spurs Eglin AFB

Figured I would make my lunch break yesterday into a photo shoot down at Silver Spurs. It was hot and humid and I didn't think I had any good shots due to the bright sun and exposure a bit off. When I got home I was surprised that some of my photos actually turned out :0) I did have allot of fun talking to the horses and spending time with them. They're such a gorgeous animal.

This little one's hair cracked me up, poor thing was in need of a hair cut. He was so cute.

This was Little Bit, look at that fluff of hair he has! I got to give him some treats and he is just as sweet as can be.

Like I said above; gorgeous creatures. I had such an amazing hour there. Definitely my new hangout spot, I don't think the horses mind either :0)

Silver Spurs Horse Get Away

Last weekend I had the pleasure of taking a trip down to Silver Spurs at Eglin AFB. Growing up I used to go to horse camp in the summer and I've always had a special place in my heart for horses.

These are some of the images that I captured just from walking around. They have a great bunch of people that run Silver Spurs and make it a beautiful get away from my every day scenery.
